The Anadarko Basin located in south-central Oklahoma is the asymmetric foreland basin of the basement-cored Wichita Uplift. It contains a number of large oil and gas fields located on anticlinal structures. The complex tectonic history of the area has resulted in subsurface structures whose geometry and evolution are difficult to interpret.
